Apple iPhone Fold: Price Breaks the Limits
Apple’s first foldable iPhone is rumored to launch next year. The iPhone Fold (expected name) will not be cheap, and an analyst has already shared the expected price of this foldable device.
According to a Fubon Research analyst, who bases the estimate on supply chain data and Apple’s margin requirements, the iPhone Fold is expected to cost around $2,399. For comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 starts at $1,999, so it’s not surprising that Apple’s foldable iPhone will be priced higher.
Fubon Research believes the high price of the iPhone Fold is due to the material costs of the display panel, hinge, and lightweight components. However, the analyst believes Apple will sell 15.4 million units of the foldable iPhone, including 5.4 million in 2026.
The iPhone Fold is rumored to feature a crease-free 7.58-inch flexible display and a 5.8-inch cover screen. It is also said to offer a larger battery than the iPhone 17 Pro Max.
