iPhone 17 Series Geekbench Results Revealed

The iPhone 17 series and iPhone Air are now official, and the first Geekbench benchmark results have surfaced, showing us how the new Apple A19 and A19 Pro chips perform.

iPhone 17

iPhone 17 (iPhone 18,3) comes with the Apple A19 chip, scoring 3,608 single-core and 8,810 multi-core. This is a 10% single-core and 11% multi-core improvement over the iPhone 16’s A18 chip. The device also features 8GB LPDDR5x RAM.
On the GPU side, it achieved a 37,014 Metal score, marking a 33% boost over the iPhone 16.

iPhone Air

iPhone Air (18,4) runs a cut-down version of the A19 Pro chip with a 6-core CPU and 5-core GPU. It scored 3,674 single-core and 8,824 multi-core with 12GB LPDDR5x RAM. In GPU tests, it reached 37,743 Metal score.

iPhone 17 Pro

iPhone 17 Pro (18,1) scored 3,523 single-core and 9,028 multi-core, also equipped with 12GB LPDDR5x RAM. Its GPU performance hit 44,342 Metal score, which is 17% higher than iPhone Air and 32% better than iPhone 16 Pro.

iPhone 17 Pro Max

The flagship iPhone 17 Pro Max (18,2) achieved 3,781 single-core, 9,679 multi-core, and a 45,657 Metal GPU score, which is nearly 40% better than iPhone 16 Pro Max.
