Google Pixel 10a renders leaked: The new model looks almost identical to its predecessor
Fresh CAD-based renders of Google’s upcoming budget smartphone, the Pixel 10a, have surfaced online, showing a design almost identical to its predecessor, Pixel 9a. The phone retains the flat back panel, metal frame, and dual-camera bar, keeping Google’s recognizable Pixel look intact.
According to the leak, the Pixel 10a measures 153.9 × 72.9 × 9.0 mm, almost the same as the Pixel 9a (154.7 × 73.3 × 8.9 mm). It’s expected to feature a 6.2-inch OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, providing smoother performance compared to older models.
Under the hood, the device is said to be powered by an optimized version of the Tensor G4 processor, which will enhance AI-driven features like image processing, voice recognition, and power efficiency.
In terms of photography, Google is expected to include an improved main sensor and updated portrait algorithms, though the familiar horizontal camera bar design remains unchanged.
The Pixel 10a will likely come with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB storage options, running Android 16 out of the box. As usual, Google plans to provide at least five years of software support for the device.
The launch is rumored for March 2026, with sales expected to start in April or May. Pricing is expected to remain around $499, keeping it in the affordable Pixel lineup.
Overall, the Pixel 10a appears to focus on stability, improved AI performance, and battery efficiency rather than a radical redesign — making it one of the most promising mid-range Android phones of 2026.
