More iQOO 15 specs revealed, including periscope camera

Back in May, it was reported that the iQOO 15 would come with a 6.85-inch flat QHD+ LIPO OLED panel made by Samsung. Now, renowned leaker Digital Chat Station on Weibo is back with even more technical details.

The device will feature a 50 MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, just like the iQOO 12, which sadly was removed in the iQOO 13 (which only had a 2x optical zoom non-periscope camera).

In addition, iQOO 15 will include an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, vivo’s self-developed display chip, and support for 100W wired fast charging. The brand is also considering wireless charging, and according to the leaker, it's likely to be added.

The periscope camera and wireless charging were the key elements missing from the iQOO 13 to call it a true flagship. With these features coming back, iQOO 15 could fully embrace the flagship identity.

The device is also expected to run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 SoC, which should be officially unveiled in September.
