New OnePlus 15 Design Revealed
First look at the OnePlus 15 shows redesigned body and three new colors
The OnePlus 15 will mark one of the biggest upgrades for the company. A few months ago, reports suggested the flagship would get a completely revamped design, and now we have the first images, shared on Weibo.
The most noticeable change is the removal of the circular camera island. It has been replaced with a black square module with rounded corners, housing three cameras — two together and one separate.
While we don’t see the back completely, leaks suggest a 6.78-inch flat 1.5K display with a 165Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will arrive in three shades: Dune, Absolute Black, and Mist Purple.
Dune will be the hero color used in most marketing. Absolute Black is said to be the deepest black ever used on a smartphone. Finally, Mist Purple offers a softer look.
Following tradition, the company skips the number “4,” so the OnePlus 15 is expected to launch in October, alongside the Ace 6.
Under the hood, the flagship will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip and introduce an in-house image engine after the end of the Hasselblad partnership. It will also pack a 7,000mAh battery with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging.
