WhatsApp’s new reply view: All message responses in one screen

WhatsApp is testing a new feature that organizes message replies under a single header, especially useful in busy group chats.

This update is currently live in the iOS 25.19.10.80 beta version and will soon roll out for Android. The system is designed to make tracking replies easier in long or chaotic conversations.

With this feature, all replies to a specific message will be shown in a separate screen structured like a headline. Users can easily see how many people replied and what was said, without losing context.

Additionally, the reply count will be numerically displayed, allowing users to preview the interaction before diving into the details. The feature works in both one-on-one and group chats.

There will be a small indicator on reply-containing messages. Tapping it opens a new screen with all replies and allows responding directly from there.

Although the feature is still in testing, the exact release date is unknown. Meanwhile, WhatsApp is also experimenting with AI-powered features like message summaries and writing assistance.
