Xiaomi has officially introduced its latest smartwatch — Redmi Watch 6. The new model is slimmer than its predecessor and features an additional physical button, making everyday use even more convenient.

The Redmi Watch 6 is only 9.9 mm thick, making it lighter and thinner compared to the previous generation. Its body is made of aluminum alloy, which provides a more durable and premium look.

The new “sub-key” or secondary button makes the watch more functional. Users can customize this button to quickly access frequently used features such as workout modes, music control, or emergency contacts.

The smartwatch comes with a 2.07-inch AMOLED display and an impressive 2,000 nits brightness, ensuring excellent visibility even under direct sunlight. The ultra-thin bezels deliver a wider and more immersive viewing experience.

Equipped with a 550 mAh battery, the Redmi Watch 6 offers up to 24 days of power on a single charge. Thanks to improved energy optimization, it performs efficiently for both daily use and intensive workouts.

It also features an advanced GNSS system (supporting GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, and others) for more accurate tracking. The watch is 5ATM water-resistant and supports over 150 sports modes.

Currently, the Redmi Watch 6 is available in China for 599 yuan (around $85 USD). Global availability, including in Europe and the Middle East, is expected in the coming weeks.
