WhatsApp is coming to Apple Watch — messaging right on your wrist!

The popular messaging platform WhatsApp, owned by Meta, continues to expand its presence in the iOS ecosystem. After launching its app for the iPad, the company is now testing a dedicated version for the Apple Watch. This is the next step in WhatsApp’s multi-device support strategy, allowing users to continue messaging without relying solely on their phones.

The new app will fully sync with the iPhone, meaning messages will appear simultaneously on both devices. Users will be able to read messages, listen to voice notes, and soon reply directly from their wrist. The interface is designed in a minimalist style to fit the Apple Watch screen. Additionally, Dark Mode support and vibration notifications will make messaging more intuitive and convenient.

Currently, the app is available to a limited number of test users. If the testing goes smoothly, an official launch is expected in early 2025. Experts say this step will strengthen WhatsApp’s integration into the Apple ecosystem and increase its competition with iMessage.

The Apple Watch version ensures that WhatsApp works efficiently not only on smartphones but also on wearable devices. All messages will be protected with end-to-end encryption, keeping user data secure.

Future updates may include voice calls, quick reply templates, and other features for Apple Watch users. This will allow users to manage their messaging experience entirely from their wrist, without needing to reach for their phone.

WhatsApp’s arrival on Apple Watch marks a new milestone in messaging, reinforcing the platform’s strong position within the Apple ecosystem. The update promises convenience and functionality for both personal and professional users.
