Xiaomi 17 Pro Max camera leaks – key differences from the Pro model

Leaks surrounding the Xiaomi 17 series don’t seem to stop. Yesterday, we saw camera details of the Xiaomi 17 Pro, and today it’s the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max’s turn.

The device will share the main camera and ultrawide lens with the Pro, but it will feature a different telephoto sensor. The Pro Max will still support 5x optical zoom at a 115mm focal length, but with a wider f/2.6 aperture compared to the Pro’s f/3.0. This should result in improved low-light performance.

The main camera is 50 MP with an f/1.67 aperture, while the ultrawide comes with a 17mm focal length. As expected, the camera setup is co-engineered with Leica.

Both the Xiaomi 17 Pro and Pro Max will be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, set to be officially announced next week. The Xiaomi 17 series is expected to launch before the end of the month.
